This case is great, very snug fit around the phone. The lock and mute buttons sometimes to take slightly extra pressure to use but not much at all. All the access holes for buttons, headphone jack etc. are tapered toward the bottom (rubber has been shaved off at an angle to make it easier to push the buttons when holding which is nice attention to detail). Very nice case in all, a great addition to this model, recommended buy.
The color of the case blends well with the black color of my Bold 9780. Alignments of the access holes for the side buttons, camera, flash, and speaker grille are spot on. While it covers the two invisible keys at the top, it doesn't take too much of an effort to press them with this case on. If anything that would prevent accidental presses of these two buttons. It is not too hard to put on and to remove, but it does hug the phone firmly and unless you swap SIM cards, cases or batteries you would rather keep this case cover on.
I use this alternately with a leather flip case (this one when indoors and the leather case when outside).
